Commonly known as Willmot Smash Repair Specialists under the management of Helena Willmot and husband Wes Jenkins the company quickly earned a reputation for quality and integrity in the automotive community. At an early stage, Allan Willmot, Helena’s father, and his team consistently delivered a level of service that ensured his name was associated with only the very best.
In 1984, WSRS installed the first compliant Spray Booth and the first Data liner Laser Chassis Measuring & Straightening machine, becoming a competent & quality assured body shop and obtaining the RACQ Selected Repairer contract.
Willmot Smash Repair Specialists has a level of experience and management excellence rarely found in the auto body repair trade.
Since Allan’s retirement, Helena and Wes have taken Willmot Smash Repair and WSRS Prestige Autobody with all hands maintaining the quality and continually improving efficiencies.
Today, WSRS Prestige Autobody will not only keep up with the environmental practices available to the industry but also with the technology and training to repair the many sophisticated makes & models on the market today. Our purpose built and award-winning facility built in 2017 at 136 Newell Street continues to provide a streamlined repair process with reduced cycle times and increased efficiencies.
Our newest purpose-built workshop at 143 Newell Street now with 38 staff inside the Willmot family and state of the art equipment, is an accredited BMW Bodyshop and maintains our Authorised Repairer status for Telsa, RACQ, Suncorp, Lexus, and QBE. Our new workshop is conveniently located in Bungalow, Cairns and is close to the major prestige vehicle dealerships.
